Interesting reads on the many different thoughts and aspects of neutrals counting as negatives. From thinking neutral means neither one way or another to them counting as negatives, to us being told they don't according to the ebay site.

I too don't understand this. To me neutral is just that as on any other website or survey. Yet now ebay counts them as a negative. I just don't get it, why offer both if they both are going to mean the same thing. Then all those who had 100% feedbacks yet a few neutrals to now have those past neutrals count as negs makes no since. If they wanted to do this they should have grandfathered those in to count as they where meant to be back when they were gave.

SHELBY 5256. Buyer waited almost three weeks to pay, and only did so AFTER I filed a NPB. She then went on to file a neutral feedback on me telling me she had a family emergency ( she left town for two days yet took three weeks to pay) and my shipping was too high ($9.00) when shipping was clearly listed in the auction description. She claims to never had read that. So of course I wrote to ebay and they never wrote back. Im just about done with ebay and their stupid policies. It allows the buyers to post unfair feedback and the sellers have absolutely no recourse. I posted her name in the ebay boards but ebay took the posts down. I love this site and am actively spreading the word to each and every seller i know. we need to keep posting this site on the ebay boards.

I got hit by a guy who bid on my item, was from the Russian Federation and I do not ship with the USPS, all advertised facts. I send him an invoice, he leaves negative feedback in less than 8 hours from the time the auction closed.

With the new feedback policy they are supposed to be blocked from leaving a negative until 7 days have passed since the end of bidding. Why 7 days was the chosen time frame is a mystery only feeBay execs understand...HOWEVER, I would bug the snot out of someone in T&S for feedback removal for negative feedback that was allowed to be left in less than 7 days.
Heck for that matter if I think I can find a policy violation I'd still bug the snot out of them. The squeeky wheel gets the grease so if Jo Schmo in customer service at feeBay can't get it removed keep going up the chain of command.
If they have this policy they should follow it!!!

International postal exchange has collapsed due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic!
The buyer sosa05312 won the dispute (5233247518), and after the money was returned he still received the goods (track number RO289837668RU).
I contacted the buyer and specified a PayPal account to re-pay for the item so that he can legally use it.
The buyer ignored all my messages and warnings that taking possession of someone else's property without payment is a crime.
I contacted Ebay support and reported the fact of violation of the law. However, the support of Ebay simply wrote excuses and rules, completely turning a blind eye to breaking the law, completely abandoning the solution while sellers needed justice at this difficult time for all of us. Or at least prevented a crime that happened on the Ebay site.
Since during the pandemic, Ebay simply betrayed the sellers.

Hello, Sorry, if I am writing to the wrong place, please direct me to the correct forum. I'm in complete despair !!I am an ebay seller from Russia. Buyer: tigyr_16 opened a case against me about undelivered goods, although the track number showed that the goods had already arrived in his city and was being delivered by the courier. There was an unsuccessful delivery attempt on October 15th. The buyer wrote that the package was stolen and he did not receive it. Although now I understand that he was just playing for time so that the case was closed in his favor and after that he received the package. On October 16, the case was closed in my favor and money was transferred to me for the goods. On October 18 he receives the package. And the most terrible and inexplicable begins. On October 19, Ebay transfers money to him from my account for the goods without giving any reason !! Although the goods are already in the hands of the buyer on October 18. I urgently write to Ebay and open the application. Ebay asks me for proof of delivery, and it is named, they require the buyer's signature on receipt of the goods, because the buyer allegedly claims that the goods have not been received and the goods are worth more than $ 1,000. ($ 1,325). I provide all proof to Ebay support that the item was delivered and I provide a photo taken at the time of delivery by the courier, which I received from the delivery service in the UK. Also, the most important proof is the correspondence through the message system in Ebay, where the buyer confirms the receipt of the parcel. I also attach this fact as proof. They stop responding to all my letters about this dispute !! Ebay replies with the usual unsubscriptions, such as that you decide the issue with the buyer yourself, even ridiculously, Ebay answered me about a completely different product and a different buyer. Just a complete ignore. The buyer wrote that this is an Ebay decision and deal with them yourself, he will not return the money. I myself understand that I am writing requests to the service, which made a mistake and transferred money for the delivered goods to the buyer and does not admit this mistake. And I continue to write to these people and ask for help and justice in solving the case. I am completely crushed. Advise where to go with a complaint to the higher authorities on the support Ebay's service in the UK. Because all my requests go there and they do not behave competently and lawfully.
